Development of a Criminal Justice Information Systems Strategic Plan

Client:
Kansas Criminal Justice Coordinating Council
Year:
2002

In this engagement we assessed the three interrelated systems in the state of Kansas: Computerized Criminal History, Juvenile Justice Information System, and Kansas Incident-Based Reporting System. The Automated Fingerprint Identification System and the state Law Enforcement Telecommunications System also were included. The project entailed an assessment of the CJIS environment of city, county, and state agencies that have potential involvement with any of the three interrelated systems.
