MTG Management Consultants Recognized by IJIS Institute

The IJIS Institute announces the presentation of its first Member Appreciation Award to MTG Management Consultants, LLC on January 7, 2009. The award was presented by Paul Wormeli, executive director of the IJIS Institute, during the Institute’s Industry Briefing, held in Dulles, Virginia.

 

MTG Management Consultants has been a member of the IJIS Institute since 2003, and the company was a former participant in the Industry Working Group (IWG), the IJIS Institute’s predecessor. MTG ranked among the top five percent of all member organizations in terms of the number of overall Institute-related projects with which they were involved, including: serving on technical assistance engagements, acting as trainers for educational events, representation at events, and participation in committees. MTG Management Consultants currently has a member on the IJIS Institute Board of Directors, Bob Kaelin, who is also a past president of the organization. Another MTG representative, Jim Cabral, chairs the IJIS Institute’s Security and Privacy Committee.

 

Kirke Curtis, CEO of Pamet Systems and chair of the IJIS Institute’s Outreach and Membership Committee, noted that, “In an organization like the IJIS Institute that relies so heavily on the active participation of its members, many member companies stand out for their contributions. The Institute feels that recognizing such contributions through a Membership Appreciation Award is appropriate and probably long overdue. MTG is consistently lauded by their peers for their leadership, insight, vision and depth of commitment.  We are delighted to present them with the first IJIS Institute Membership Appreciation Award.”
