Children’s Programs

Alaska Department of Health and Social Services
Reviewed business processes and provided technical assistance for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Office of Children’s Services to successfully implement a Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS).
 
Colorado Department of Human Services
Provided quality assurance for the development of a SACWIS and an integrated case management system for welfare offices and youth correctional facilities throughout the state. Collaborated with the Department of Human Services’ Division of Child Welfare and Division of Youth Corrections.
 
Vermont Department for Children and Families
Assisted the Child Development Division in completing an Integrated Systems Needs Analysis, detailed system requirements, and an RFP for system development.

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services
Assisted the Economic Services Administration in assessing the need for an automated child care case management system.

Continuing and Long-Term Care

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services
Assisted the Division of Developmental Disabilities in developing a strategy and plan for implementing an integrated information system, as well as creating a Planning Advanced Planning Document (PAPD) for submission to US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
 
Colorado Department of Human Services
Assisted the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division in creating a feasibility study related to acquiring an information system to support its transition to a managed care service delivery model.
 
Minnesota Department of Human Services
Defined requirements and system architecture for a vulnerable adult abuse reporting and tracking system.
 
Minnesota Department of Human Services
Evaluated the feasibility of extending an existing case management system to meet the needs of adult programs.
 
Clark County, Nevada, Social Service Department
Assisted the department in evaluating and improving business process. Also provided assistance with the procurement of an automated case management system.

Kansas Department of Health and Environment
Evaluated the viability of implementing an integrated vital records management system.
 
Texas Department of State Health Services
Provided project management and technical assistance related to the implementation of a statewide women, infants, and children benefit management system.
 
Texas Health and Human Services Commission
Provided project management and technical assistance related to the implementation of a Medicaid front-end authentication fraud reduction project.

Colorado Department of Human Services
Provided independent quality assurance services in support of an assignment to replace legacy human services benefits systems with modern server-based systems.
 
Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services
Evaluated the feasibility of implementing a department- wide document management and imaging system.
 
New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance
Developed a structured method, framework, and tool to be used to develop detailed cost-benefit analysis reports.
 
Texas Health and Human Services Commission
Assessed the viability of implementing a single statewide Integrated Benefits Card to meet the needs of multiple benefits programs.
