Identification Systems

  • State of Nebraska – Defined Automated Fingerprint Identification System requirements and studied the feasibility of acquiring a system for the state.

  • Western Identification Network, Inc (WIN) Sacramento, California - Providing assistance to nine state and local agencies in seven states serviced by WIN, MTG introduced the complex deployment of a totally redesigned Automated Fingerprint Identification System (NEC AFIS 21/EX), and presented contractual compliance and user satisfaction results in a series of findings and recommendations to the WIN user group and board of directors.

 

Communications

  • Pierce County Law Enforcement Support Agency (LESA) – Developed a multiyear strategic improvement plan for the law enforcement business processes, supporting software applications, and technology infrastructure.

  • Dane County 9-1-1 Public Safety Communications Center  - Assisted the Dane County 9-1-1 Center Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) in Madison, Wisconsin to implement a structured strategic planning process, offered valuable insight and information regarding critical decisions, and crafted strategic initiatives to be employed by the SPC.

 

Law Enforcement

  • Michigan Department of State Police (MSP) – Assessed information technology systems and developed a strategic plan spanning multiple instances of legacy, client-server, mobile, and Web-based technologies.

  • Cuyahoga County Criminal Justice Services Agency – Assisted the Cleveland Department of Public Safety with executing a mobile computing feasibility study and identified a long-term mobile computing solution to meet a specific set of operational, technical, and service requirements for the Cleveland Police Department (CPD).

  • Missoula, Montana City and County  - Offered acquisition assistance to the city and county of Missoula in procuring a shared Records Management System (RMS). 

 

Prosecution and Courts

  • State of California, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) – Assisted the AOC in its efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the state’s 58 trial courts by enabling the automated exchange of information between the courts and their criminal justice partners.

  • Kansas Office of Judicial Administration – Assisted in developing a strategic plan for the implementation of statewide computer systems for the trial courts of Kansas.

  • State of Washington, Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) - MTG reviewed the AOC Information Services Department's development efforts for the state-wide Judicial Information System resulting in a detailed assessment and recommendations to improve the project organization, and to enhance the organization and development processes.

 

Corrections

  • State of Wisconsin, Department of Corrections – Assisted with the establishment of a Project Management Office; assessed the current technical environment; conducted the procurement of a new Integrated Corrections System; and developed the long range implementation plan.

  • State of Washington, Department of Corrections – Developed a very detailed study of the feasibility of implementing a new Offender-Based Tracking System for the state and assisted with the requirements definition and procurement process.

  • Dakota County, Minnesota - completed several analysis efforts to position the Criminal Justice Information Integration Network (CJIIN) to implement a new jail management system for the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office. 

 

Integrated Systems

  • State of Kansas, Criminal Justice Coordinating Council – Planned, designed, and managed the implementation of a Web-based integrated criminal justice system for the state which included state criminal history system, message switching system, and key local applications and information-sharing mechanisms.

  • State of Washington, Justice Information Committee – Designed the information-sharing and integration architecture for the state criminal justice systems; defined key information exchanges using the SEARCH Justice Information Exchange Model; and developed the plans for implementation.

  • Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation - MTG is supporting the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) Task Force to develop a plan that will be specific to Oklahoma and can be used to manage the funding and implementation of improvements to justice information systems in the state for the next 5 years.
