Child Welfare

  • Alaska Department of Health and Social Services – Reviewed business processes and provided technical assistance for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services’ Division of Family and Youth Services to successfully implement a Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS).

  • Colorado Department of Human Services – Provided quality assurance for the development of a Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) and an integrated case management system for welfare offices and youth correctional facilities throughout the state between the Department of Human Services’ Child Welfare Division and Division of Youth Corrections.

 

Child Care

  • Vermont Department for Children and Families – Assisted the Child Care Services Division (CCSD) in completing an Integrated Systems Needs Analysis, detailed system requirements, and an RFP for system development.

  • Vermont Department for Children and Families – Provided project management support to Child Care Services Division (CCSD) during the implementation  phase of the integrated child care system.

 

Developmental Disabilities

  • Colorado Association of Community Centered Boards – Assisted in the development of a feasibility study for acquiring a new information system.

  • State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) – Assisted the Washington DSHS Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) in developing a strategy and plan for implementing an integrated information system, as well as creating a Planning Advanced Planning Document (PAPD) for submission to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

 

Aging and Adult Services

  • State of Colorado, Department of Human Services – Provided independent quality assurance services in support of an assignment to replace legacy human services benefits systems with modern server-based systems.

  • State of Colorado, Department of Human Services – Assisted the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division in creating a feasibility study related to acquiring an information system to support its transition to a managed care service delivery model.

 

 Medicaid

  • State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services – Assisted the Division of Medical Assistance in developing an RFP for a state-of-the-art Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and in evaluating subsequent responses from qualified bidders.

  • State of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services – Completed a feasibility study for the Infant and Toddler Early Intervention Program (ITEIP) within the Division of Developmental Disabilities.

  • State of Texas, Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) - Currently providing project management services to implement a Medicaid Integrity Pilot to combat fraud, abuse, or waste.  Services include support to HHSC in continuous project management, planning, implementation, turnover, and post-project closeout of the pilot.

  • State of Texas, Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) - Currently assisting the HHSC with a study that will evaluate the feasibility of implementing a universal benefits card within the state.  The study will include an overview of the current business and technical environments, an analysis of alternatives, a cost benefit analysis of each alternative, and a recommended solution to include both a conceptual design and an implementation plan.

  

Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

  • Texas Department of State Health Services MTG provides on-site project management support services for statewide implementation of the Texas WIC Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) system, managing external communications with WIC vendors and key stakeholders related to WIC EBT system rollout and conversion.  MTG manages the WIC Vendor Communications Plan; monitors “EBT readiness” of non-supermarket stores; oversees commercial electronic cash register (ECR) system certification policy and procedures; promotes commercial retail ECR systems development; coordinates technical work groups and manages the development of updates to WIC EBT ANSI standards; produces the WIC EBT vendor newsletter, “Tex Talks WIC EBT”; manages and hosts the WIC EBT vendor Web page; plans and executes regional, state, and national meetings; and provides oversight to specialized technology projects:  Very Small Aperature Terminal (VSAT) Network Capacity Analysis; Third-Party File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Services Contractor; and New Card Design, Development, and implementation/Migration.  MTG is the first firm to successfully complete the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) WIC EBT Pilot System Evaluation and negotiate federal approval for statewide rollout of a client’s offline WIC EBT system.  in the development of a feasibility study for acquiring a new information system.
