K-12 Education Systems

  • Denver Public Schools – Redesigned and developed human resources, benefits, and payroll business processes in support of implementation of new software.
  • Shoreline Public Schools – Developed a set of detailed design specifications for a student testing reporting system.

 

Community College Systems

  • Oregon Community Colleges – Assisted the 16 Oregon community colleges in preparing a baseline system design and implementation plan in support of a statewide data collection system
  • Tacoma Community College, Clover Park Technical College, Pierce College, and Bates Technical College – Performed an independent review of Year 2000 readiness programs for the listed community colleges, which encompassed all aspects of the community colleges’ programs, including information technology, facilities, and contingency plans.

 

University Systems

  • University of Northern Colorado – Reviewed the university’s IT environment and strategic plan and defined an approach for the university to utilize in transitioning from its existing mainframe-oriented IT environment to an open systems future vision.
  • University of Washington – Assisted in the conversion, modification, customization, and implementation of a proprietary payroll/personnel system to meet the needs of the university.

 

Legislative Systems

  • Oregon Legislative Administration Committee – Assisted the Oregon State Legislature in developing a strategic technology plan.
  • Oregon Legislative Administration Committee – Assisted with management of a software development project aimed at replacing a legacy application used by the House and Senate chambers to maintain member and measure information.

  • Washington State Legislature, Joint Legislative Systems Committee (JLSC) – Reviewed the development plans for increased computing and data communications support for the Legislative Service Center (LSC) and presented our evaluation of the plan’s validity and reasonableness.

 

Human Resources

  • Washington State Office of Financial Management and Department of Personnel – Assessed the state Human Resources system and identified alternatives for migrating to a new system.
  • Oregon Legislative Administration – Assessed the human resources needs and requirements of the Oregon Legislative Administration.

 

Financial Systems

  • State of Washington, Office of Financial Management – Facilitated the Central Financial Systems Steering Committee in the strategic planning process.
