At MTG, our people are our most valuable asset. We understand the
importance of ongoing training and education to strengthen and enhance
skills. We provide our staff with numerous opportunities for professional
development, which include:
 |
Monthly Professional
Development ("Brown Bag") Sessions
These informal lunch sessions typically focus on current
topics
of specific client engagements, public sector trends,
and consulting techniques.
|
 |
Monthly Division Meetings
Topics include new projects, divisional business planning,
and public sector technical issues.
|
 |
Summer Staff Conference
Dedicated to professional development, this annual staff conference
is held off site at various Pacific Northwest resorts. The
2-day retreat features outside speakers, current topics,
industry trends, and consulting methodologies.
|
 |
Fall and Spring Staff
Meetings
Structured professional training and administrative
information sessions held in Seattle with a social gathering
afterwards.
|
 |
Two Formal Performance
Reviews
Staff members are reviewed twice yearly by their
administrative managers. During the review process, staff
members receive constructive feedback regarding project performance
and discuss specific professional development goals.
|
 |
Paid Conference Attendance
Staff may attend up to two industry conferences annually.
|
 |
Paid Association Memberships
We encourage our staff to actively participate in industry
associations.
|
 |
Additional Educational
Opportunities
These might include computer training courses, public speaking
courses (such as Toastmasters), and other relevant instruction.
|
We
believe these activities are essential to the support and continuing
development of our team. Our commitment to professional development
ensures experienced and knowledgeable consultants who can provide
the highest-quality services to our clients.
